Climate

Due to its vast size, India has a varied climate and it is possible to travel at almost all times of year and find certain areas of the subcontinent that are at their best. The country has a three season year - summer, monsoon and winter. The coolest weather lasts from around December to February. The hot weather, when it is dry is between March and June. Monsoon rains occur in most regions anywhere between June and September.
